Worship

"For you this whole vision is nothing but words sealed in a scroll. And if you give the scroll to someone who can read, and say, “Read this, please,” they will answer, “I can’t; it is sealed.” Or if you give the scroll to someone who cannot read, and say, “Read this, please,” they will answer, “I don’t know how to read.”

The Lord says:

“These people come near to me with their mouth

and honor me with their lips,

but their hearts are far from me.

Their worship of me

is based on merely human rules they have been taught.

Therefore once more I will astound these people

with wonder upon wonder;

the wisdom of the wise will perish,

the intelligence of the intelligent will vanish.”

Isaiah 29:11-14

Oh Bride, Beloved of the Lamb, bought with such a great price--how can you have so little love of the Truth?  Again and again He has shown you the way to worship Him.  Written in His Scriptures, written on your heart, written in the stars.  But you bind it up like unreadable words, sealed in a secret scroll, and pile excuse upon excuse for not knowing what the words say.  

You call aloud the name of Jehovah and the name of His Son, but you are frightened if He answers.  You sing longer and louder than there is strength in you, but if the Almighty bares His arm and rides out in strength, you cower in fear and turn from His mighty deeds.  You sing of how much you want to know Him, but you are afraid to actually know Him--you really just want to know man's rules, man's reasoning, the made-up logic that explains away His call to come and die so that you can truly belong to Him.

Do not honor Him with your lips if your heart is held at a distance.  It is better that you stand in silence than for you to sing lies.  

Do you not know that the worshipers He seeks must worship in Spirit and in Truth?  How can you not understand--God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in Truth?  

Your government has reasoned that your physical weapons are too dangerous in the hands of ordinary people, so you riot and clamor about your right to bear arms.  However, you have failed to notice that the Sword of the Spirit was also taken in the night, and no one was there to protest the robbery.  

The false shepherds who have stolen your spiritual weapons are about to be brought low.  The babes and the unschooled, the simple fools who will follow the Lamb wherever He goes--these will be lifted up in the sight of all, and with them the Lord will accomplish deliverance for His Bride from the idolatry of man's rules.
